Job Description

Clients-
  • Ability to answer day to day audit queries from clients and consult with managers and partners appropriately demonstrating good judgment
  • Develops a good working relationships with client staff
  • Adheres to the firm's risk management policies and procedures, consulting with colleagues as necessary
  • Completes financial statements
  • Takes responsibility to complete tasks as allocated by the manager / senior associate
  • Addresses, researches and proposes conclusions in respect of technical and audit issues
  • Able to audit balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
  • Prepares draft reports demonstrating an understanding for the client's business and ready for review by the senior associate, using a good standard of English

People:
  • Proactive contributes to the team effort of managing client expectations
  • Asks for feedback on own progress and applies it going forward
  • Audit operations
  • Actively monitors budgets and timeframes on all assignments, taking responsibility for achievement of these
  • Exercises judgment as to whether work has been audited to an appropriate level
  • Recommends changes to planning for subsequent years to improve profitability
  • Ensures jobs are fully completed by agreed deadlines unless renegotiated with the manager in advance
  • Understands analytical review procedures, materiality and entity level controls.
  • Ability to establish significant and non-significant cycles of the client
  • Adequate knowledge of auditing all the cycles in the financial statements
  • Develop points for discussion with the Manager/Senior Associate in charge of the file
  • Assists and performs any other duties and responsibilities bestowed upon by Manager

1. Quality deliverables through thorough ownership and taking responsibility of assignments.
2. Team efficiency by effective time management and proper planning.
3. Demonstration of technical know-how and capabilities in own work area.
4. Effective management and execution of simple assignment.
5. Development of personal and technical skills through training.
